Mixed Media / Canvas Works

Daniel has been involved with multimedia work for some time, only really drawing or painting during his grade school years. Over the course of the pandemic, Daniel re-discovered his love for painting, drawing, and now even creating mixed media canvas works. Having photographed and filmed artists for so long, it was refreshing for him to dive back into the world himself, and face an empty canvas with all the possibilities!

How it started - photos turned paintings

Daniel's work began as printing out his photography work onto canvases, and then painting, in order to re-learn portions and fine detailing. From there he progressed to developing dozens of move canvases, as small as 5" x 5" and as large as 5' x 4', all vastly different with his painting ability flexible even to take up commissions in a specified style, but also let his mind explore- typically painting his collection of fine photography works.

HOW IT's GOING - a wealth of Mixed media works

Daniel's abilities (in form, color, practices) increased and his interest shifted further into expressionism over realism, his ability to keep portions possible, but the sweet spot for him being to paint through emotion and use his canvases to interpret the world around him. Through the mediums of acrylic, pastels, charcoal, pastels, watercolor, and more, Daniel further dives into the realm of the unseen and in-between with a few of his (various) styles represented below.

HOW to move forward - Showings & Commissions

Daniel is very excited to be prepping and creating more works for a large variety of upcoming shows, from upscale art galas to a booth spot at the rowdy Pancakes and Booze Art Festival. He's always open to showing in new venues and will respond to any inquiries about having his work featured; as well as open to any and all commission works, and he can (usually) flex his style to meet any style requirements & project demands.
